Smell of raw cake mix and phlegm? Please read....?

For 3 hours now I've had a bad, strong smell of raw cake mix and phlegm, or something in my throat. I can't spit it up but I keep swallowing. I kinda want to burp and can't but I feel that if I burp I'll bring something up with it. Any idea what to do?
