Does anyone know the steps to file chapter 7 on our own. Got scammed out of our last bit of money to file.?

can anyone offer some advise. 9 months behind on first mortgage second and all credit cards aprox($50000). We did a few free consultations and found a law offices of robert yousefian. $499 to file chapter 7. We were told our case was very easy and to go ahead with our move to AZ(walked away from the house). We wanted to start over. The time limit to file in CA is 90 days after we move. As soon as we moved and got together the 499 and paid the lawyer through walking in a bank of america they stopped helping. They have only responded a few of times to tell us that someone is out of the office due to family emergency and we will have our paperwork on monday... Monday has come and gone quite a few times and we are almost at the deadline to file. We have sent them emails and called on a daily basis and we get no response. God help us. I could have never imagined life getting so bad and now this. any advise anyone???
