Mom bully?

My neice is visiting for the weekend. Apparently, she got into a scuffle with a girl down the street. Neice comes home all huffy and throws herself on the bed crying. I get a knock on the door and it's the other girl's Mom. Well, the Mom is screaming at me about keeping my kids in line. And, she's pushing the screen door and just screaming about how she should put the hurt on me. "I'll hurt you". I got scared. I thought I was going to get in a fight with a nutso. Seriously, I backed up from my door and got my gun, and told her to leave. Of course, I didn't point it at her or anything, I just made her aware that I was armed and more then willing to use it. She backed off and I called the Police as a precaution. It was a kid fight. My neice happened to get the better of her. Why would someone think it's okay to go cause trouble at someone's home for a kid fight? And be so angry about it. What, you want to beat me up because my niece kicked your kids azz?
