I am leaving from Newark NJ on Friday 2/26, Will my plane take off in snow?

They are calling for snow Thursday and Friday and my flight is supposed to leave at 6:30 AM from Newark. I am panicking because it is a very important trip. Can planes take off in snowy weather?
